Insurance and payment
A fee is required at the time of initial consultation. Payment of surgical fees is required at the time of scheduling for cosmetic surgery. Preapproval for payment is required for scheduling of reconstructive surgery through insurance. Assignment from most major insurance carriers is accepted. The patient retains responsibility for payment, except where contractually prohibited by HMOs and PPOs. All co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance fees background are collected at the time of service. Patients will be billed for claims that are denied or not covered under their respective insurance plans.
